Journalisten kregen enkele minuten om het 100-pagina&#8217;s tellend formulier door te lezen voordat de persconferentie van start ging. Zoals men kan verwachten was Omtzigt ook in geschreven vorm lang van stof. Een specifiek puntje in het verkiezingsprogramma zorgde voor enige ophef op Twitter (of X).<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Grote techplatforms worden verplicht om de werkelijke identiteit achter accounts in hun administratie vast <\/em><br \/>\n<em>te leggen, op straffe van forse boetes. Bij een schending van richtlijnen\/wetgeving, zoals discriminerende of <\/em><br \/>\n<em>haatzaaiende content, worden zij beboet en verplicht om de identiteit te delen met de politie<\/em><\/p>\n<p>-Verkiezingsprogramma NSC (p. 61)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hoewel het programma op andere punten een controlekritische koers lijkt te varen, zo verzet NSC zich tegen de Europese Digitale Identiteit en tegen algoritmebeleid, moet dit punt niet over het hoofd worden gezien. Op eerste gezicht lijkt het standpunt een sympathieke te zijn, het zou het einde betekenen van online bedreigingen, maar aan de andere kant betekent het het einde van het vrije internet. De zegen van het internet, de anonimiteit, heeft een kernrol gespeeld in het verstrekkende gebruik van het internet. Social media zijn een verademing voor vrijheid van meningsuiting, waar je niet bang hoeft te zijn voor represailles omdat je altijd achter een pseudoniem kan schuilen. Discriminerende of haatzaaiende content zijn in deze tijd zeer subjectieve begrippen, en om de interpretatie hiervan dan maar over te laten aan politiek correcte ambtenaren of andere ICT&#8217;ers kan al gauw censurerende effecten hebben. Ook in de tijd waar een verbod op &#8220;desinformatie&#8221; dichterbij dan ooit is, in werkelijkheid vooral overheidskritische informatie, gaat dit de vrije internetgebruiker niets goeds doen. Wat als de overheid bepaalt dat kritiek op de gendertheorie\u00ebn plots ook onder haatzaaien valt, dan kan je zomaar een agent aan de deur krijgen voor een uitspraak als &#8220;Alleen vrouwen kunnen zwanger raken&#8221;.
